So I never had any issues with the car before. I haven’t drove my car in 2 weeks. It’s 2022 with 1,030 miles on it. I go into my garage today only to find the car battery is completely dead! I’m Not sure why because I don’t keep the key anywhere near the car and only thing I can think of is maybe an update drained it?? So I jump started the car with cables with the help of my other car and all the lights went on including CEL saying my transmission is hot! The car hasn’t even been started yet! Then once I finally start the car, the CEL light stays on and says idle creep disabled and rear axle disabled. Can this be just a glitch because the car reset itself? Or is there something really wrong with the car I wonder? I drove around the block once and came back home shut the car off and turned it back on but still have the CEL. Im hoping to drive around alittle more and see after couple cycles if the CEL will go away. Has this happened to anyone else after their battery died and then got power back?

Sounds like a frustrating experience. You'd expect not to have to keep the car on a battery tender, but that seems to be the norm from reading posts by others.
Seems like everything needs to be constantly hooked to a charger these days!

Hate to say it but those CELs have been mentioned before. Could be as simple as a flush needed. Espeically since it's so new. There are 100 Codes associated with things that can go wrong with the DCT. Dealer will plug in and do what GM says. Suggest driving to a dealer asap and let them check. Call 1st as most are booked up since new cars are all hard to get some folks are fixing old ones.
Hope it's simple.
PS: My 18 month old 2020 is never on a charger. Have one and only used when new and one other time when I thought there was an issue but wasn't! Turns out the battery will only charge to 80% then reduces voltage to just what is needed to run he car! All for energy savings and small increase in mpg! I drive 3 to 4 times a week and usually ~50 mile round trip to town.. No problems with battery.
Thank you. I ended up connecting an OBD port and cleared the codes and been fine since. Spoke with vette tech at chevy who said when you jump start the car a lot of components are reading low voltage which is why it throws all types of codes, but are not real issues. Just needed to be cleared. All good now thank god!
A friends MB was dead in his garage and locked in park. I am BCAA member (AAA in US) so we called and specifically told them the issue. The tow driver was great and had proper equipment the dollies gets placed under the wheels, adjusted and then lifted a few inches. He backed the truck up close to the garage and we simply pushed the car out toward the tow truck. This would work even on a steep driveway as you just need the car out slightly. He attached the dollies to the tow truck and off it went. I asked if he could get in an underground parking lot and he said to mention that when you call and they have smaller trucks. I also asked if flatbed was better and he said not needed except for motorcycle or extreme damage.

What's this have to do with the price of tea in China?
I have had 5 Corvettes starting back in 1977. A 1976 C3, 1987 and 1989 C4, 2016 C7 and now a 2023 C8. I have always a company truck and a daily driver so my Corvettes did not driven alot. So starting with my 1987 C4 i would Connect a Deltran Battery Tender when parked in my garage. I have had Batteries last 10 years.
It's because of that stupid "related thread" feature when scrolling. A much older related thread shows up at the bottom and if you aren't careful where you click, you end up responding to the zombie thread.

The "related thread" scroll feature can be disabled in the user control panel settings. I did this a long time ago!
