Engine cover vents
I live in Florida and rain is always possible. Should I be concerned about water entering the engine compartment through the engine cover vents?

If it gets rained on you're gonna have to total it, sadly.

No. It is a design, not a flaw.

Do you really think this is an issue? If so, I guess they shouldn't sell these cars where ever it may rain.

The C7 ran from 2014 to 2019, six years. I don’t recall anyone worrying about water getting on the engine from its hood vent!

I doubt that the designers of the car just threw those vents in there without taking into account the water issue. Some rain is not going to hurt anything. Just drive the car and enjoy the experience.

If it passed the factory test, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
