I agree. I'm in the last of the 22 order group and was kind of bummed to miss out on the new wheel options but now that I see it on the car I like the Spectra gray tridents better.

Funny, I just realized why the 2023 C8 optional 20 spoke wheel seems so attractive to me. It's similar to the optional 20 spoke BBS wheels that I wanted but was too cheap to get on the Lexus LS400 I bought in early 1990. OK, maybe you have to squint a little to see the similarity.

I have nothing against the new wheels, but found some others I like better. Chet (Aerolarri owner) ordered these Forgeline F01s in Black Ice for me. Now waiting for my car to be built....

How are you getting the image of the new wheels? The visualizer isn't up yet. Did you just photoshop it?

If you want to PM the pictures or post them here, I would really appreciate that!

Btw, your renders of those wheels are amazing! I saw that the Visualizer shows an Ultra Bright 20 spoke wheels. I'm guessing it'll look like the Ultra Bright Trident that's available. Here's a pic of it.

...Also.just placed a order for the Black Ice F01's for my Black '22 w/ Edge Red calipers... Like the clean look of this wheel... Anticipation/installation/visual for the wheels is higher for me than the car initially, but that will change soon as I get those gaudy base wheels swapped

Was Chet good to work with? Was he able to get you a good deal on the Forgelines? They look really nice!

The visualizer isn't consistent so I'm still assuming the photo that Chevy released is how the wheel looks. We'll see...

I hope your renders are correct. It looks much better than what we are seeing on the 2023 visualizer. We might see the real wheels at the Corvette Bash on April 28th.

Thank you soooo much!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. That really helps my brother and I get a better idea of what our C8s could look like with those wheels.
Nice that members of the forum (i.e. you) are willing to go above and beyond for other members!

In the visualizer, they're the "NEW Ultra Bright Machined 20 Spoke" wheels. I think they look great. Very cool how the darker spokes show a 5-star pattern and the bright spokes are in the form of Corvette logos.

Yes, I have seen the spy photos people think are the wheels but that's not for sure. Even my dealer is embarrassed by it. Happy and excited, just find this almost laughable.
I totally agree. Makes no sense.

What really stinks if you ordered early for a 2023, you didn't have the new wheels as an option. (Q99) Now they are actually part of the order process, tried to get changed by dealer and GM rep tells them it will push my build by a month or two. Coded at 3000 at this time with no TPW. It's really hard to believe with today's technology you can't change a wheel (5 spoke trident to Q99) even with the car at 3000 and not push the build. Must be part of the its to HIGH, HOT HEAVY to get done.
