The car I am getting has the chrome package. Not that I want that option, but that’s what it is. Is that just the badges on trunk and frunk and lettering on back. It’s a $100 option. Can it be removed and black badges put on?

I think the selection of the carbon flash spoiler is bundled with carbon flash mirrors, and not the selection of the carbon flash top and nacelles. So unless you also have the carbon flash mirrors, it will be body color (I just went through the 2022 configurator to see that). I have read on the forum, that others have said those emblems can be removed - I have not done that.

Yes, you can remove and replace with Carbon Flash badges with no issues.
Thanks so I guess my rear spoiler will be rapid blue. Guess it can be rapid or replaced.
If you have the list of options for your car, you can go on the Chevrolet site, and use the "build and price" feature to spec it that way - then you can see exactly what it will look like, in and out.

To remove the badges and lettering, all you need is a hair dryer to soften the double sided tape and then some fishing line to saw through the tape. Follow up with some Goo Gone to remove any remaining tape and adhesive. Then install some black lettering and emblems or just leave them off - your choice. Be sure to use some painters tape to mark where the original letters/badges were so you can install them in the right locations.

Personally I would leave as is. Body color spoiler and chrome lettering will work well on rapid blue. The chrome lettering matches the exhaust, unless you have ordered black exhaust tips.
If you really want black, then the lettering and the spoiler can both be replaced without too much effort.
I was going to go with the standard Black emblems until I saw a Hypersonic Gray with the Chrome. It spoke to me. lol. Glad I went with the Chrome. I also selected the black Spoiler/Mirror package.

I did the chrome package on my hypersonic grey also and I think it looks great.
