Has the quality improved on these mats? I bought a set for my C5 and within 1.5 years the gas pedal area was fairly worn (it was not a daily at the time). I will admit, except for that spot and a little discoloration from the insignia, they’ve held up well. I would like to get a set for my C8, just wondering if it is worth the extra expense if they still wear out on the pedal area.

I had them in my C7 (fronts and cargo) and they seemed to wear OK. I didn’t drive it enough to wear them out.
I bought a set of front, trunk and frunk mats for my C8. The $150 or so for the fronts seemed OK but over $300 for the trunk and frunk mats is an unbelievable rip off. The trunk mat is about 36” X 12” and the frunk mat is about 20” X 12”. In addition they made them with the wrong binding. I’m not cheap but those two mats are a complete joke. I would think long and hard before I wasted tht much money on those.
The Lloyd's mats are available in several different quality grades. I’ve had them for n for a year - and I’ve had zero wear visible under the gas pedal.

I had Lloyds mats in my C5 and had a hard time keeping the white in the logo clean. It drove me crazy so I said never again. I had them in that car for 12 years and had very little wear so there is that.
My experience is that it is the Ultimate mats that show wear more quickly. Ultimate means a deeper pile carpet that wears more in the foot area around the throttle pedal. I went with the standard, thinner mats this time.
The C8 trunk mat is not very impressive. It fits poorly and is expensive for what you get. The frunk mat fits well but is far overpriced. Up til this purchase I thought Lloyds were really a great product. May change to the GM molded mats for the trunk.
OP, were yours red? I had a pair of red mats for my c5 and they wore bad by the pedal area
No, they were millennium yellow on the logo and charcoal/black mat. I tried to perk up the foot area with a little soap and water, ended up smearing the yellow black, it was all good they felt plush under my feet. Would not spend the money if the quality is not there.

thanks for sharing, I’ll stick to passenger compartment only if I buy the mats.
I went with the Luxe matts, plain except the blue edging. I didn't really like how they seemed to kind of half *** the edging (just overlapped it when it came back around and met where it started) instead of making it look tidy, but they are far better quality than the crap mats Chevy includes.
