My order was accepted March 2 and set for production, but there have been no updates since then. My sale rep stated that the turnaround time has been around 6-8 weeks. Obviously I won’t have mine that fast. My question is has anyone else experienced this kind of delay?
I was at 3000 status for 2 1/2 months. So yes, it’s normal. Don’t make any plans contingent on anything timeline wise from BGA until your car is at destination.

I assume you were confirmed for a 2022 build so with 2022 only being built up to May 13th you should be receiving a build date soon. Of course I may be wrong. Perhaps someone more familiar with the C8 build process will chime in to either confirm or correct me.
If your order was accepted on 2 March, then I THINK that puts your order under a February allocation. There is a thread currently running tracking February allocations, you might want to take a look at it here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-tracking.html
Looking at the data in the spreadsheet, for those whose orders have made it to their dealer for delivery, it looks like the average time for fulfilled orders is 52 days. But only a handful have made it all the way through the process. Of course, it is possible that some who have made it through have not reported the progress.
My order was accepted by GM on 5/27/21 and my car was built on 9/7/21 with only three four day work weeks. They ran normally the rest of the summer. I would think with the 2022 production cycle coming to an end you should get yours sooner than I got mine.
