I purchased my C8 from a small local dealer. It was the first time I spec’ed and ordered a new car. Every other purchase, including my C7 was off the lot. I only had to wait 5 months to get the car. I was pleasantly surprised and the C8 purchase was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve had.
I got the car in July ‘21 and drove it from Dallas to Pahrump for the driving school. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, the school and my car. Since then, I look for excuses to drive the C8 whenever I can. It is a great car.
I feel bad for anyone who has had technical issues with their C8, but based upon my experience, I have to defend the C8 Corvette. I have had more (trouble-free) fun in this car than any other car I’ve owned (and I started driving in 1963). I hope potential buyers aren’t discouraged by all of the negative posts on this forum. If they are, they are the losers. The C8 Corvette is a terrific car!!
Ive got one of the first 2000 produced and its flawless. Paint, mechanical, everything is so good I really have nothing bad to say about the car besides excessive brake dust - but that can be remedied with new pads. Of course there are going to be units that have issues, it happens with every make on the planet. Thats why they sell new cars with warranties.

Sounds like you are thoroughly enjoying your car, which is the way it should be. And a real bonus that the car has been trouble free for you - hope it stays that way.
