I have the red Corvette Script on the back of the car.
When the dealer did the install, it appears that they put the script on a little low. It’s centered properly from side to side, just a little lower than it should be. See pic:
Should I have them get a new script kit and redo or just leave it?
Knowing how it is on my car, it would probably drive me nuts if I consistently parked next to other C8’s at shows and saw the discrepancy. But without constantly seeing it then it’s somewhat out of sight out of mind. Ask your dealer if they’ll fix it with no charge as a warranty item. Not worth paying for to fix imo.

Only you will know, and unless you're very OCD will soon forget!
Had I seen your car in the parking lot, I never would have given it a second thought. But if it was my car - it would drive me absolutely insane. Definitely one of those things only you'll notice and no one else will (unless you point it out).
Amoreloba....Your badge appears low right to me, left side bottom of the "C" aligns with the left crease, right side crease hits the center of the "E", may be the pic.

Its the pic, I went out and measured as soon as I looked at that picture myself
1 1/4 inch from the light bar to the top of the C and E +/- 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch on either side.

It looks like the CORV are angled downward and the ETTE upward. The "normal" pic shows the badge should be horizontal. Make them fix it.
The way the scripts are packaged there is no way they can remove the letters one at a time and reapply. They are all applied at the same time with a template that maintains the correct spacing. They will probably push back since they would have to eat the $300 cost for a new script.
That's pretty bad. However, when mine was swapped out at the dealer.... During the removal process the paint was pulled off. So my new car then had to go to the body shop for paint re-spray.
The less your car is worked on is always better. No one will work for hire on your car like its their own car. I would get the dealer to fix it tho its bad.
Have a talk FIRST with the service mgr about my experience.
Here are pictures of of my red lettering and the original black lettering (different angles). They look almost perfectly identical..... My PPF/Ceramic shop swapped out the black for the red using factory part that came with an application guide. Would agree your dealer applied too low and slightly off angle. BTW no damage to paint, and I even had ordered the section of the stripe that the letters go over in case the stripe was damaged - but it was not.
... especially when it's no risk to them to say "Have it redone!"
The risk to everyone, although miniscule, is we all pay for warranty claims one way or another. My PPF installers took the letters off and I cannot remember what they looked like.
^^^^
The risk I was referring to is possible paint chip/lift when removing. Also does not sound like a warranty issue as the dealer installed the red letters. Dealer would have to pay for new letter costs and if there was a paint issue any repaint!
In my PDF on installing a High Wing I note what GM says about Warranty even for this dealer install option: GM Warns When Installing High Wing: Don’t use a Heat Gun to loosen the Double Sided tape that holds the Z51 spoiler along with the 6 bolts.
They recommend using 50 lb test fishing line in a sawing motion through the tape (after the bolts are removed.) Any damage caused to the bumper during the removal of the Z51 wing or installing the new wing can not be submitted for warranty!
Seems like the lesson here is not to have the dealership either remove or install emblems on your car & do it yourself if you want it done correctly. I’ve removed and installed countless emblems on my cars, it’s very simple to do.
What I don't understand is why they simply don't install the specified colored lettering at the factory in the first place. Especially since removing the letters has been known to damage the paint and the dealer positioning of the new letters, as noted above, may be "off." I mentioned this on the forum before and replies were along the lines of "it would be too confusing for the factory to have to keep track of what colored letters to install." Using that logic, why not paint all the cars white and if someone wanted a different color, have it done at the dealer. I was fortunate in that my rear fascia [bumper] had to be replaced with a factory painted one and I took the letters home with me so that I could properly install them myself.
