One way to find out is to pop out the SD card for the PDR to see if that gets rid of the notifications. If it does, try to reformat the SD card. It may be corrupted.
If you reformat the NAV SD card won't you lose the data/info?
Absolutely. Avigar mentioned formatting the PDR card, not the NAV card. They are two different things. The NAV card is in the console, the PDR card is in the glove compartment.
Every time I start the car, I get the following notification:
It isn’t the SD card for the PDR
It is the NAV SD card. NAV works just fine. Why would this notification keep popping up?
Any help would be appreciated.
What model year C8?
I routinely get SD Card "not installed" errors at start-up on my late build 2020, but in the lower-right window of the dash screen. But it's not the SD causing the problem -- it's my USB thumb drive in the console loaded with my audio files. I just reach in the console, unplug and re-insert the thumb drive and all is resolved. It may or may not cause an error with the next car re-start.
This mat be a cause if you are using your console USB port. Post what you find.
Also check to make sure your PDR SD card is not full or near capacity. Mine will not over-write even with it set to do so.
