It worked out that I am taking delivery of my new C8 this Thursday, the first day of the NCM Bash. I hadn't even heard of the Bash prior to scheduling my museum delivery, so I'm curious how many people here on the forums are attending this year. I read through the agenda and honestly I didn't find a ton of stuff that would be all that interesting (seminars mostly from what I can see), although there are a couple of cruises to a distillery and another place that might be kind of fun. Am I missing something here? Are there a lot of things going on at the same time that don't show up on the official itinerary?
Expect a large crowd!! Lots of local and nearby Corvette Clubs scheduled to attend this event...not to mention many that will travel to NCM from afar. Always a great gathering at NCM for any and all events!
I have gone nearly every year for nearly 20 years. It's a good event and you often get some great insight to your car, and also one can speak with the engineers behind the development of the car.
Some years have been better. Especially "launch years", and for many who have not seen a Z06, this will be their first chance.
Sometimes, the fun is something YOU have to make happen. Others, well, I guess it might be on an agenda. Either way, it's usually a good time.

Usually you will hear new offerings for the upcoming model year at the Bash and get a chance to hear from some of the top Corvette brass. Should be an interesting time especially since you are taking delivery of your C8 at the same time.
Stay. Ask questions and learn. great position to be in by saying I just took delivery today or yesterday, I’m jealous as I’m still in the waiting stage,
In past years there was no museum delivery during the Bash. Corvette Boulevard is full of vendors.
^^^^^^^This. And the Boulevard is empty of C8's right now. You may want to double check your date.
I stand corrected, as of 7:35am CDT the Boulevard is full of C8's. Not sure where all the vendors will be now? You have a great time doing Museum Delivery, and stay for the Bash if you have the time. It only adds to the experience. Best of luck with the C8, I have 6,500 miles of trouble free driving fun...

The vendors will be located on the grass circle and surrounding area, to include food trucks and eating area. See you there!
I know this may be a long shot, but for those of you going to the Bash see if you can get any of the Corvette engineers to comment on their NHTSA investigation into the DCT. Mine has been trouble free as I'm sure the vast majority of owners are experiencing, but it would be interesting to see what they have to say about it. I think the DCT is fantastic and I have fun with mine almost every time I drive my C8.

The Bash doesn't start until Wednesday/Thursday time frame.
I just returned from an ocean cruise and going to the Bash this time was not in the cards. While I was on the Cruise, I met the new Museum CEO and her husband and a couple of other NCM people. She told me this was going to be a terrific bash, I have enjoyed the dozen I have been to and plan to go next year. You will also enjoy the Museum delivery!
Wouldn't it be great if a surprise announcement was made at the bash that factory tours were restarting that weekend. Would love to see the C8 production line.
