Default Lloyd C8 Mats

A big thanks to Corvette Custom Accessories! The order was painless, the shipping was fast, and the mats are fantastic! Nice carpet, my feet immediately felt a huge difference from the GM OEM mats.

Highly recommended! And these really make the interior of the C8 "pop", with the double logo. The red edge trim stitching is a perfect compliment to the red stitching in the interior.

And these even came with rubber protective caps to cover the exposed bolt heads in the floor of the C8!

The price was very competitive, and the shipping was free!

Am I happy? Is the Pope Catholic?

Thank you, Chip!

Where did you buy yours with the blue binding? Do they also make a natural binding or a red binding?

Lloyd's Ultimats.....nothing else comes close. been using them for many years and they were my first accessory for the C8....actually, I would call them a necessity!

Direct from Lloyds online store. That’s Navy with blue piping.

The mats look great and I came close to ordering a set several times but I'm not sure my OCD can handle the color difference from the stock carpet. I wish they could have matched the mats to the interior a little (Ok, a lot) better.

The upgrade from OEM in quality, comfort, and appearance is night and day.

Ultimat

And here is what is really cool. Yes, made in the USA. But, the person who cut my mats is Jorge Nunez. And the lady who did the embroidery is Martha Rodriguez.
Both their names were proudly signed on my inspection card!

From looking at previous threads on this very same topic, it seems that many recommend the LUXE line over the ULTIMAT line, anyone have experience with both?

Also, apparently "EBONY" is closer to the C8 black interior, which color(s) are the mats above (smurf, tx?)?

Thanks!

The color is Ebony. It is a good match for the black interior. The "Ultimat" is very nice. My thinking is it is simply the best value of the entire line.
My new (300 miles) GM OEM mats were already showing minor wear patterns in the fabric. I do not think this will be an issue with the Lloyd mats.

I have experience with both.

The Luxe is a lot thicker with a deeper pile. The problem is that it is also so much thicker than the OEM carpets that it looks “aftermarket”. I personally didn’t like it.

The Ultimat is also denser than the OEM carpet and feels like an upgrade. But the depth of the carpet is closer to OEM which means they really blend in and look like a high end factory mat.

The Ultimate also comes in more colors so usually you get a better match to OEM to carpets

Default Lloyd mats are great, but ...

But they don't come in red!
