Default High Wing Spoiler Backorder

Anyone waiting an extended time for their High Wing Spoiler?
I bought my car the first of February. I didn’t order it, it was a dealer spec vehicle with the high wing, but the high wing had not been delivered yet. Also on the sticker and not received was an indoor car cover.
Here we are just shy of May and still not spoiler or cover.

The dealer has not been very communicative about it, insisting there’s no way to track the order and that it will just show up at the dealer one day and they’d call me. I’m starting to get skeptical about it at this point.

I waited an additional 3 weeks, but that was back in March when the high wing supplier was cutting ties with GM. Seems things have not gotten any better.

Good luck, it's the best looking wing by far for the C8.

I didn't know that the supplier of the high wing cut ties with GM. Who was it and did GM get another supplier to fill that void?

Btw, great pics of your AO coupe. I've been seriously thinking about this color for my C8 which I'll be ordering soon. Got any more in the sunlight? Wanted to see some pics that really showed the true color of it. Thanks!

Going out on a limb here, however I believe that would probably be a matter of personnel opinion, that quite a few don't share.

I would agree but the high wing was on backorder multiple times due to popularity, I don't see the Z51 option having that issue. The back end is so plain and flat, needs something to set it apart, the high wing does that and creates a more exotic look. To eaches own though.

Yes, they moved to another supplier but it did create a hiccup in the supply chain.

Here are some more pictures:

Have you tried calling GM Customer Care? Perhaps they can shake things loose (although who knows).

A dealer near me waited less than 2 weeks, installed 2 a few days ago. Slow, but they are coming.
