As the Title says I finally got my 2022 C8 LT3 HTC with Z51 Suspension and Mag shocks , traded in my 2016 C7 Z06 (with Z07 pck). First choice would have been the Red Mist but never could find one that was equipped and/or priced
that I could live with. Second choice was a White one but all White don't like the Carbon Flash roof, new one has the carbon flat nacelles but I can live with that. What an ordeal being at 1100 for the 2000,2001 and never getting past that for so many reasons including the dealership passing me by so they didn't have to honor the agreed upon price. First impression is I love putting down the top surprising
quite and very little wind . With the Top up was hopping it would have less wind/tire noise them my old Z06 but seems the same to me. Checked the tires and they were overfilled by a good 5lbs each so have reset them but I don't think they will make much of a difference in noise but maybe a bit smoother ride. Speaking of the ride comparing both cars in Sport Mode which I always leave it in the new C8 ride is far far more comfortable especially over pot holes and rough pavement. Have not pushed it but the car clearly doesn't have the punch of my Z06 so maybe I will add a Borla exhaust and it will sound as fast. I have no doubt I am going to enjoy this car and maybe replace it with a new Z06 in a couple of years.

Have you passed 500 miles? Until 500 miles the torque is limited to about 330 lb ft. After 500 it jumps to the usual 470 lb ft. Car is a noticeably quicker after 500 miles.
