For several days now when I click on 'APPS' on the infotainment screen I get this message. I don't know if there's something wrong with my car or if GM is having a problem. Also, I'm not even sure what should open when clicking on 'APPS' if everything is working properly.
My car (yes it’s a C8Z) just hit 100 miles after many short drives (I had just had spinal fusion surgery so I can’t go far not to mention getting in and out) and having it a month….I have noticed the sound once or twice but it’s definitely not there all the time. I’m just going to keep driving it until GM tells me not to or it breaks. I am a previous C7Z owner and this car is phenomenal in every way and at this point I am enjoying it way too much to let the sound worry me lol!!

You need an active data connection for the apps to function. Are you subscribed to one from either OnStar or AT&T?
The problem I was having was over a year ago. I contacted OnStar and they did 'something', (I don't know what), that took care of it. Hasn't occurred since.
