Found someone one FB selling what she said was an edge red cover. I could see from one of her pics that it wasn’t edge red, looked more like Long Beach red if anything. She said she got it as part of an Amazon return pallet purchase. I got it today and see that it isn’t painted at all. The plastic is this color on both sides and isn’t stamped as a GM part like another one I have. it’s definitely the same material and quality of the oem one.The foam is also a different color with a peel off material to stick in place like the oem one. Who wants to start the bidding on this rare one or a kind gem? 😀

FWIW, this is my Edge Red GM cover bought 18 months ago. I used for my LBR 2020 C8 so it matched the valve covers. Note back as well. Matches valve covers perfectly. The Chinese copy is not close to LBR!
Not only is it a copy, but a bad copy to boot. The Corvette insignia is incorrect, with the checkered flag on both the left and right hand side of the insignia.
