I just figured out how to get the seats to blow cool air. Wait for a 30 degree day and and turn on the seat air flow, if you can feel it. That is the only way you get cool air out of a C8 seat. Sucks on a 90 degree day.
Or close the windows and roof, turn on the AC and direct some air to the floor vents.

This isn't true, see other replies about the floor AC.
I was driving yesterday with the top down and the seat ventilation on. It was not a hot day, but not cold either. Turned down the air to setting 2 after a little while because it got a bit chilly. I was wearing jeans and a T-shirt. The real problem appears to be that the seats are pulling air from the bottom of the passenger cabin, and if this air is very warm it feels like there is not much cooling to be had. Maybe try with the top up and air condition set to cool the footwell and see whether that helps? On Monday when I drove back from my airfield later in the evening I had the heated seats going and found they work quite well, too.
Awesome! I have been complaining about the seats not feeling as cool as my other GM vehicles from day one. I just did what you said and it was a game changing!! Even with the top down. The cold air at my feet did the trick! Thank you!!
We just had our first spell of cooler weather. The C8 automatically turned on the seat heaters on high and the steering wheel heater. As the cabin warmed up the seats went from level 3 to level 2 to level 1 and then shut off. Steering wheel heater also self shut off. Pretty neat .
They were never intended to get 'cold', and never will....Ventilated only, they work as intended, but alot of people think they are supposed to get 'cold', like your A/C....
^^^ Just small fans blowing whatever cabin air is on the floor to your rear and back. Small fans so not much flow. Cabin air has to get cold 1st.
Pics C7 but similar. Small fans and heat strips behind a mesh that lets air get to the perforated seat material. It takes time to feel heat as has to conduct thru air but C8 better than C7.
