So finished cleaning up the car etc today. Had dealer do PDI pick up Tuesday. All of sudden going down the RD check engine light comes on running rough and the Traction control light on and the pos traction message on screen like pos traction is lock up. only 38 miles on the car. Not happy at all any one with same issue.

I’m sure he knows that he has a warranty. In his post he asked if anyone had this same issue.

You must be really pissed. I know you understand you have a warranty but that probably isn't your point. I would be livid if I was in your shoes. It failed brand new so now there will always be doubt.

I feel your pain, my yellow coupe came in Thursday and I was going to pick up Friday. Dealership found a rear axle seal leak and I won't get to take delivery until it is fixed. Maybe this coming Wednesday if the part comes in. Best of luck to you....frustrating first impression.

I had a similar, if not exact same experience with mine at 27 miles for the 450 mile drive home from the museum. It turned out to be a bad speed reading from one of the front wheels. They thought it was a bad sensor, replaced that, but it still happened. It turned out to be a small dent in the hub the sensor works with. it has been fine since.

its sad that instead of help people in need here often get negativity instead.
Like stated earlier could be anything simple loos battery cable or something in the charging system a ground etc.
Even a plug cracked or wire.
Breath. Take it in. They'll figure it out.
Drop it off and wait for the call. You'll be ok. I've been there I've had dozens of new vehicles and several driven away from the dealer instant issues.

Heck a couple that never left the day I tried!
Negativity? Sad? What could we say to make him feel better? He should do nothing with the car other than take it back to the dealership. That’s the best advice anyone can give him.
Do you think your advice is more helpful? Should he get out his tools and start tearing apart his brand new 80-90 thousand dollar car?
Contact your dealer. You have a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty along with a powertrain warranty.
To be more specific, a 3 year B2B warranty and a 5 year powertrain warranty.
And I’ll add, at 90 miles on the odometer my stereo amp died. No FM, no Sirius XM, no Navigation voice instructions, not even the clicking sound from the directionals. Took it in to the dealer, replaced the audio amp, and the entire car has been perfect ever since (and I’m currently around 9,000 miles). Whatever the OP’s issue is, the dealer should be able to get it squared away quickly. (Emphasis on “should be”).

While I agree that the best thing the OP can do is take it back to the dealer, I think you missed @19/C7Z's point entirely. In fact, he told him to take it to the dealer and everything would be OK. There are some people on this forum - and every forum for that matter - who do exactly what he described in his post. I'm not accusing you of doing it either.
yeah I know I have warranty but if car can't get past 38 miles going to be hard to have faith to drive and take the car on trips. Its a great car lots of cool features , but none of us should have the issue people have had with the top of the Chevrolet Brand.
Hopefully we will get solved this week, If I have to wait for parts guess who is getting the car back.

Ok then what you are looking for is someone to tell you everything will be OK and it’s probably a glitch and something simple that will never happen again.

Now a good idea is contact your dealer and I’m sure he will help you get through this.

Sorry you have experienced an issue with such few miles on the car. I can understand the confidence drop because of it, but hopefully this is just a very minor thing, will be fixed quickly and you then will be able to enjoy many trouble free miles.

I am curious...did you finish the ride or have it addressed first? We are making the trek home in a few weeks and seeing the daily forum posts about every single issue that comes up has me paranoid about an issue in the middle of nowhere...
