I bought a new set of black trident wheels from a forum member here. When I took to Discount tires to mount it, they found out the rear wheel was bent. If I go to a Chevy dealer, will they honor the warranty since the wheels are not on my build? What if I provide the VIN number from the vehicle that I bought the wheels from? I have been driving and have noticed the vibration from the wheel. The C8 only has 312 miles and I would hate to spend another $500-$600 for another black trident wheel and don't know if I can find one new with current black trident wheels constrained. Thank you.

Warranty will most likely not help you. I had two bent wheels on my C7 Z06 while still under warranty and claim was denied by Chevrolet. Dealer did all they could. Ended up with forged wheels from a forum vendor.
Add me to the "warranty will not cover it" list. It's considered a road hazard as soon as the car is leaves the dealer's lot, and the only coverage would come from the purchase of a tire and wheel hazard plan as the original owner. Since you bought them 2nd hand, no chance.
I know you don't want too, but if you decide to purchase a new Black Trident Wheel, ShopChevyparts.com appears to have them in stock. The front wheel is listed for $487.50 plus tax and shipping. I would imagine other GM Wholesale warehouses also have them in stock.

I checked ShopChevy and they are out of stock and will not restocked until June 30. I need a rear wheel.
First choice: get a set of quality fully-forged replacements and sell whatever you have that's still good; second choice: buy a new wheel to replace the bent one and do the first choice after you bend one yourself.
