What dealerships have waiting list trackers, I'm on Criswell's wait list and it seems like they have taken a stance "we'll call you when your number is up" no one knows where you are on the list, I don't want to be "that guy" calling all the time but I made a deposit. It would very be nice to know where I stand every now and than.
Macmulkin Chevrolet has that available, once a deposit is received you can go to their site and enter your Email and retrieve your position.
It’s updated every Monday. Good luck .
I am on both lists. McMulkin is one of the few dealers, to my knowledge, that has a tracker. Criswell will not update you until it is your time to place your order. Frustrating but Both MM and Criswell make the whole process painless and sell ar MSRP.

I feel your pain. I bought my 21 HTC at a dealer that didn't have a wait list. When I put my deposit down I asked when I could expect a call and got basically the same answer that you got. When I got an allocation - which was a lot sooner than I thought - I asked again when I would hear from them. They told me when my order went through and true to their word they called me two weeks later to tell me it went through and gave me my TPW. I didn't call them again during the four months it took for my car to get built. The wait is painful.
I'm sticking with Mike@Criswell with no worries. I have full confidence in him. It is what it is @ BG (and everywhere else on planet earth) w/years of covid. That screwed up everything A-Z.
I am currently driving a C8 purchased from criswell. Everything went smoothly, although I waited 18 months. From reading these forums, it is apparent to me that the wait time at ciocca and at MacMorgan is approximately 12 to 14 months to delivery. While Mike Furman‘s customer service is unquestionably fantastic, the brutal fact is that he has far more deposits than cars to be available, which translates to a much longer waiting time with Criswell than with the others. Just. Sayin’!
Most dealerships have a person who does their Internet work. One of my best friends did it for the largest Chevy/Ford/GMC dealers in our area before he retired. His responsibilities were getting all of the used cars posted and managed the new car postings from the manufacturer. Whenever I visited him at work he had plenty of time to talk and told me it was the easiest job he ever had. I know he could have maintained a wait list.
C8 Z06 excluded, I doubt if anyone had to wait 18 months. Sometimes customer service means great value not only before the order but after delivery. Hence the reason he assists all vette customers even when they don't purchase from him.
And if they did, delivery was affected by demand for C8, UAW strike, Covid, Covid Covid, repeated shutdowns due to parts shortages. So just hang in there my friends.
As for Z06, as we all know, Chev Div has not even released MSRP yet. So is my deposit check dated Oct 1, 2020 on the demerit clock for Mike? I think not.
