Got a question for all, my dealer told me my car shipped from factory last week but has not been in PA for a week due to the truck breaking down. Says they can’t get a hold of dispatch for an update. They can only go on a website for the dealer to track it.
How accurate is all this information my sales guy is giving me?
Your dealer can use a tool they have called FreightVerify. Only available to dealers. Your dealer can do it through the VIN view app in Dealer Connect.

thank you. I will ask him to do that.
i did ask about activating on star. Was told they use to do that but don’t because too many customers complained they didn’t get the full amount of time to use onstar. Meaning that the clock starts when you activate onstar even though the car is not in the customers possession.
i just find it very hard to believe that the dealership doesn’t know why the truck is stopped in PA. They are guessing it broke down but don’t know why or what’s wrong with the truck. Also more important when the truck will get fixed and back on the road to the dealer
the car was supposed to be delivered to me on Monday, latest Tuesday.
Who does Chevy use to transport? Can I call them with my vin?
Corvettes are transported from the factory to dealers by Jack Cooper Transport. Highly unlikely they will do anything for you as they work for Chevrolet, not you and you don't own the car at this point. They have a web tracking tool that used to be able to be used without any login credentials, but they shut that down due to misuse from the Corvette buyer community.

True.
My 2020 arrived at the dealer 3/5/2020 and I was able to track it. Every time they dropped a car at a dealer, it was updated with the time. I was able to figure out when it would arrive at my dealer and camped out and watched it unloaded. Very exciting. That’s gone now.
