3LT Dash check-in

Now that we are in the 4th model year of the C8 how are the 3LT C8 dash materials holding up? I really like the thought of a 3LT with the yellow stitching, but I want to see some feedback from the community on C8's that have been on the road a while.
Hopefully it has been resolved with the C8.
It is important to not that the C7 and C8 dash designs are different. The C8 dash has less area close to the windshield and the defroster vents aren't surrounded by the leather. This was one of the problem areas in the C7.

Since GM does not say what the 1LT, 2LT or 3LT dash is made from or frankly what any of what they had called soft touch materials OTHER THAN THE SEATING SURFACE which in the GT2 seats is real tanned animal hide called Napa. (Napa was named after a tanning process developed in Napa CA in the late 1800reds but now refers to a quality real tanned animal hide.) All other what GM calls "leather" is probably GM's coined name for faux "leather" Mulan. Some soft touch materials like the C7 may be cheaper Vinyl.
Although it was speculated even the top of the line C7 seat bolsters were not real tanned leather, GM for the C8 admits they are Mulan (see pic.) GT1 seats are faux leather Mulan. The only other reference indicated it's possible the Drive Mode Wrist Rest may be Napa! I highly doubt if any other material is real animal hide in any level!
In the C7 it was pretty clear the 3LT dash was different than the 1 and 2LT because the 1 and 2LT did not have reported shrinkage. That dash was probably Vinyl (Polyvinylchloride, made from salt!) It was also indicated by a BG manager, Mulan in the C7 was what is called bonded leather, used extensively in the furniture industry. It's Vinyl with 10 to 20% finely chopped real leather scraps added as a filler. Vinyl typically uses a cheap filler, Calcium Carbonate (Lime.)
A forum member found a reference to a C8 3LT dash part he bought was labeled Polyurethane. That is a higher cost man-made faux leather that (at least my street rod made from Ultraleather Polyurethane) does not have ground up leather.
So far no indication the 3LT dash has a shrinkage or that it's any different than a 1 or 2LT dash re issues. If it's the higher quality Polyurethane Faux leather shrinkage issues are not likely.
In addition my 3LT dash about 1 foot in from the windshield has a non leather, not soft touch material that is a type of plastic . It looks like it is designed to stop glare. The vent where there was shrinkage in the C7 is in that material not the soft touch whatever!

Not sure what the 3LT is made from. A forum member said a 3LT dash part he bought said Polyurethane. That is a more expensive fake leather material than Vinyl.

I was just letting him know which interior I had. Leather was just an easy term to use...
