Thanks. These are the Akrapovic exhaust tips. They come with the Akrapovic decal on them and I had a friend who is also a C8 owner modified them to with the decals you see on the pics...
How did you cut the original tips off and how did you attach the aftermarket tips. Who is the aftermarket supplier?
The OEM tips are cut from the inside of the opening of the tip. I used my Dremel tool with metal cutting disks. The tips were given to me by a friend (C8 owner) after he installed the AWE exhaust in his C8. The tips are made by Akrapovic. and I think he got them from eBay.

Did you have to remove the bumper to tighten the new tips on?

@CarlosC8 What's the thickness of the metal tips and long did it take you to cut through one? When you say it's a close fit, do you think a sawzall will work just as well as a dremel? Did you use the clamps or weld the tips instead? I have both tools, but I thought the sawzall may do it faster. Thanks.

No way you're SawZall-ing without taking the rear bumper off. Dremel from inside only way with bumper on. I went thru a bunch of cutting wheels. Use the reinforced cutting wheels, not the metal EZLocks, or the heavy duty cutting discs, or especially not the EZlock Thin Cuts. Trust me I know.
But yeah, not a chance you're fitting a sawzall in there with the rear on. Not so easy to tell from the angle of my pic here, but where you need to cut is a good 3-4 inches inside of where the bottom of the body rectangle opening protrudes. It looks space-y with the tips off, but when they're on and you're cutting... yeah naw:
