Default Front Lift Kit

My 2022 Stingray 2LT my 2022 Metallic Gray did not come with a Lift Kit what are my options now? Can it be installed after the fact??? My car was purchased with 1100 miles and I did not build it and did not find out until I had the car for 48 hours....shame on me for not asking the dealer, probably would have purchased it anyway, it is awesome. The only think I can find that is missing so far...

Afaik there is no aftermarket kit for front lift, and I imagine retrofitting is a nightmare if even possible. Haven’t heard of any cases where someone has retrofitted front lift, so I think your only option would be to just lift the entire car and learn how to take steep angles.

You're realistically not missing much, most of us who didn't order it are glad we didn't opt for it since it gives you full ride height adjustability with the Z51 package. It's also been a rather failure prone system from the sounds of it.

Default Huh?

This post makes no sense.

Front Lift does not give you ‘full ride height adjustability.’ 🤷‍♂️

Plus, I have not read/heard accounts that it is ‘failure prone.’

Cheers!

Depends where you live and IF you get the 5VM splitter option. Heck I have come close and touched the bottom already with it raised. Use it all the time and have places programed where I scraped my 2014 Z51 and 2017 Grand Sport several times.

Going into FedEx it town is an example. Yep with my 2017 Grand Sport IF I stopped on the 4 lane highway in front of their entrance AND went in at an angle it would just clear. BUT there were times with 55 mph+ traffic I would have been rear ended.

Heck even at the slowest possible speed and at an angle still scraped the $500 spitter protector I installed. Did save that carbon fiber splitter!

Still scraped on a step driveway in town! Now have all frequent problem areas programmed and just put a button on ones I don't.

Would surely have lost my 5VM equivalent splitter if it weren't for the lift. If just the plastic Z51 splitter- it's cheap!

Failure prone system? Doesn't seem like that is a popular take on the this forum and I have certainly not seen that in other areas.

That said, I got the lift on my Z51 HTC and love it. No problems, easy to use when I need it and the memory feature is cool. I wanted this sports car with all the gadgets and has not disappointed me!

People who didn't get it will says it's a waste. Owners who did get it will say it's great.

Good luck on making your own choice - can't go wrong based on that!

^^^^
There were some early minor issues with hydraulic fluid (brake fluid) leaking from reservoir cap. Solved by GM with a different non vented cap. I had a minor issue until I lowered the fluid level as a forum member showed. (In fact, Harlan Charles was quoted as saying :It's a temporary issue until the fluid level decreases!) Then dealer tech added the new Blue GM cap when I had my oil change @ 12 months as it came up as needed for my car by GM.

A few folks who added aftermarket Paragon lowering sleeves had an issue. That apparently required an adjustment. Not failure prone! Porsche, Ferrari etc have offered for years. Porsche charges >$3500, others more!

Interesting observation by some folks who didn't get the Lift or Z51! In 2020 when I got my C8 >50% got the Lift and >70% the Z51!

Yep, Who Needs Those Grapes? Probably Sour!

100% disagree.

The front lift is amazing, and the car NEVER scrapes on anything...my driveway, my garage lift, etc. The memory function is awesome...I can't imagine not having the front lift.
