Just purchased a 2023 coupe, non Z51. Only put 100 miles on it and got a check engine. Checked the code P0700. Anybody else experienced this ? Have an appointment on this Wednesday 29th

The system probably detected debris affecting a transmission solenoid. Happened to me at 300 miles and the CEL went away later the same day it appeared. I did not take the car in for service, assuming the CEL was a fluke. Car drove fine. CEL never returned and I had the transmission flush and filter replacement at 7800 miles.

Looks like your absolutely correct, started the engine after letting it sit for awhile and CEL is gone. Thank you 😊
All sorts of electronic glitches come and go... from at least from the C5s on... It seems to be the nature of the beasts. When codes set and remain, then deal with 'em; or, when there are problematic symptoms, as well. All the best.
