When I first got the car (2022 HTC), the top the would lower the moment I hit the button. The last two weeks....I actually needed to wait about two minutes before anything would even happen. Sometimes I have to drive a block or two before it will even react.
Are you literally holding the button for 2 minutes until something happens? Or you hit the button and let go, nd then 2 minutes later the top moves? Either way, that does NOT seem normal.

Disconnect the battery; short out the leads for five seconds and then reconnect the battery. This is what my dealer said to do and it worked when my top refused to behave properly.
Just be careful not to let the leads touch the battery while doing this.
On mine, I have to hold the button during the entire time the top is cycling. It will stop moving if I release the button. There is a short delay before the top starts to move.
If you only hold it briefly, and the top starts to move sometime later on it's own, that's a different problem. The top should only move while you're pushing or pulling on the button.
It will also only move at speeds below 30 mph. If you're holding it at higher speeds, it will start moving once you drop to 30mph.
