I see on Ebay that many vendors sell some sort of Frunk release button preventer, an aluminum plate that prevents a loose item in the Frunk from hitting the button during a spirited drive in the Corvette, and the Frunk opens up while driving.
My question is: has anyone found a way to disconnect the the release button instead
?
I know the release button is required by the US government incase someone gets trapped in the Frunk, but we all know that this Frunk is too small for a child to climb into.

The law says that a frunk must open while in motion
Actually, it does not say it must OPEN while in motion it says release the primary latch position and MAY release the secondary latch position below 5km/hr (3.1 mph). Further, it states that the system MUST NOT release the secondary latch system above 5km/hr. Since the OP was worried about the button releasing the latch while spirited driving, I assume he was going faster than the specified 5 km/hr so that would mean it would not open while driven. Yes the primary latch would release, the Frunk would not open (assuming that the secondary latch did not fail.
As noted, above 5kph the button will only release to the second latch position. Isn't that electrical too because there is no mechanical second latch like there should have been . Dies that button cause the same situation as hitting the interior button of the pre fob change days where the frunk was opening on "accident"? I don't have a little one to use to verify one way or the other. Just kidding.
Just did a 2500 mile road trip with a suitcase in the frunk the whole time, wheels facing the emergency release. At no point did my frunk unlatch during the drive on tail of the dragon. As someone else said it’s a product for a problem that doesn’t exist. Plus I thought it was more of a pull tab and less of a button?

Trunk emergency release is pull tab, frunk is button.

I agree as you state, the secondary (safety) latch MUST NOT RELEASE >5mph. Perhaps there is a special dash warning if the button is pushed?!

Actually, no it isn't (too small). At one of the reveals, there's video of a young woman climbing into the trunk.
I've never had any issues with the frunk opening accidently. But it is reportedly easy to remove the frunk tub and then you could just pull the wires off the back.

Yes, there's a warning on the dash, and the car's speed is automatically limited to 26 mph. I'm not sure what happens if you're going faster than that and the button is pressed. Does it cut throttle and force you to slow down? That could be dangerous on the highway.
