Default Skipped TPW Status

23 C8 order was at 3000 status on 6/22 and when I checked yesterday with Chevy chat it was still at 3000 saying “Your vehicle order has been accepted by General Motors and is moving toward the production process.”

Today I checked and the chat said “Congratulations! Your vehicle has been produced. It is important to know that shipping arrangements will take place next and your selling dealer is the best source for additional detail on that process.”

Is this possible or a glitch. My dealer won’t update me till Monday till her gets in.

Take it as good news, and the dates seem to align. I went to 3000 on 6/29 and have an 8/8 TPW.

nice, just curios who gives the TPW, is it your dealer or the Chevy order status chat?

TPW will come form your dealer and if you have a museum delivery, Shane can give you it as soon as your order goes 3000.

I see, bummer I wish my dealer told me, I was checking almost every day for updates on the chat system. Is there a site I can check the order status? I know when I ordered my 2015, there was a site.

Well looks like its confirmed C8 was built on 7/29, I got my VIN and car will be here in about 2 weeks. I feel like not having the TWP made it lose some of the thrill, anyways, glad everything moved through quickly, I can enjoy the ride for sometime before it gets cold.

Yea, I found that the chat bot was pretty useless. Too late now but if you type “agent” in the chat it will pass you to a corvette concierge (human being) that actually gives status event codes and TPW. With that being said they always lag what my salesman was telling me.

Anyway, I would gladly have my car built than my current 8/8 TPW. Last time I took delivery within 10 or 11 days of being built, hopefully the same this time.

HI All, Good afternoon. Just another day in Paradise. I went to 3000 on 22 June 2022 and 3300 on 21 July 2022. Still sitting at 3300??? I follow the other dates folks publish and they are all over the board. No rhyme or reason as far as I can figure out???
Have a great day,
F

There's definitely a rhyme/reason, but it's just not a published one. I'm sure they have a method to their madness when scheduling the builds, but we'll never know it!

There is a very good chance your car is being built this week. I went to 3000 on 6/29 and I’m next week.
