I didn't bother with any of the DFW area dealers. I ordered my 2020 C8 from MacMulkin. Best car buying experience I've ever had.

MacMulkin is probably a shorter wait time and they have great online waitlist and order tracking tools.

Classic's list is about 5 years long now but they won't tell you that. Someone I know has been waiting over two years for a Stingray from Classic and they keep telling them a few more months until allocation.

Better off with Ciocca, MacMulkin or Criswell.

I got on their list a little over a year ago. $1000 deposit but at msrp. Was told 12 to 15 months but it clearly will be another year at least. I heard of a guy that just picked up his and he had been on the list 2 years. I did cover my bet and got on 3 more lists in the DFW area also at msrp including a small dealership about an hour out of town. I did not want to mess with the big three and deal with shipping and/or courtesy delivery. I expected the small town dealer to come through fastest but was surprised when Bruce Lowrie Chevy in Fort Worth gave me the call in June. My C8 will be built next Tuesday!! Moral of the story is get on multiple lists then be prepared to wait a year or so.

I think you'll be waiting a lot longer than 13 to 14 months with Classic. When I put down a deposit in June of 2021, they told me around a year. After asking for more details on their allocations and my place in line, it was clear it was going to be at least 2 years before I saw an order. I got my deposit back and put one down at MacMulkin in August of 2021. I pick my car up in a week at the Museum, something like 4 days shy of a year, even with shutdowns and a tornado. I'd recommend MacMulkin to anyone who will listen. Great to work with. Visibility throughout the process. Easy transaction.

Now, if Sewell Cadillac sold C8's, I'd be over there in a heartbeat.

I did reach out to some of the DFW dealers. Most seemed super shady. Classic (at the time in March 2021) told me it would be a 12 month wait, but for $5k I could move up some spots and get it in 6 months, and for $10k I could cut to the front. Which mean theoretically I could have been on a treadmill had people been bumping up by paying and not really progressing.

They're worth checking out, but hedge your bets and call MacMulkin, which is a guaranteed outcome.

Obviously, at this point they've used all their allocations.... they called me telling me they had an allocation, did I want a car (been a customer there 28+ years)... 64-67 days later I had my car - MSRP

Plano Porsche also sells most of its cars at MSRP - should anyone be interested in a P-car. I traded my Macan S (loved it) for my C8.

So I actually put down deposits at both. I would have also put one down with Kerbeck (Ciocca now), but they never responded to my emails, but I digress.

I placed a deposit with MM in March 2021, took delivery of my car in Jan 2022. It was several more months before Criswell started getting allocations for around when I put my deposit. I don't know what current waits are for either, but if you can swing the deposits, I would strongly suggest to get on multiple lists to hedge your bets. I'm glad I did - I would have ended up with a 2023 had I stuck it out with Criswell, which meant increased MSRP, probably stuck with Z51, and spent way more money than I was able to buying a 2022 model.
