Damn I was hoping for a dachshund in the passenger seat or frunk. I guess Oscar Mayer is a close second.

Ha ha, my first dog was a Daschund, named “PJ”…great dog. Smart. Stubborn as hell. She used to crap in my girlfriends shoes, lol. Sorry total tangent.

"In honor of jpee"
that is a great shot.
^^don't know how I read this, but I think there's something like 5 or more of those things cruising around the country at any one time. and over the years, they haven't changed much. it's a dawg of a job to steer them tho.

The first second I opened it up, I thought the wiener was on top of the C8 :-)
Always fun to see it. One of them was in our neck of the woods about 3 months ago...

There are a half dozen making promotional appearances nationwide. Young people, all recent college grads covet the Wienermobile jobs. Called Hotdoggers, two people travel with each. A year being extra goofy and getting paid to do it.

The HotDoggers are required to share dozens of hot dog puns every day. They "relish" the chance to race a C8, but are afraid the Wienermobile would need to "ketchup".

Just goes to show that Brooks Stevens should have stuck around to consult on the C8, too!
