Huh, maybe that was the guy that kept saying he wouldn’t buy a C8 till it had front collision detection emergency braking. Guess he bit the bullet, and so did the car. Sad! Plenty of salvage parts to be taken off it, or possibly a moderately involved complete repair.

Being from NJ, too many folks follow way to closely. Not saying this is the case here, but i see these accidents on a weekly if not daily basis. Myself, i just slow down to a crawl when people are right on my tail. It lessens the potential for a bad accident, and it makes the tailgating offender very happy at the same time😊

There is a Canuck who is already planning a rebuild of the red car. Its a total of course, but body panels, suspension parts, it is doable with some perseverance. Tough part will be sourcing C8 parts in Oh Canada. Is there a Maple Leaf version of CoPart?

My MO has been to maintain my 63 year record of not having and accident with another car is when someone is following too close I leave more room in front of me. Usually gets them to pass wherever and get of someone else's bumper or if not, gives me more time to stop without slamming on my brakes.
