Default P31e1

Hi. Did anyone ever get this code P31E1?
I just got my C8 back from the dealer a few weeks ago for another issue and really don't want to leave my car there for a long time like last time. I can't find that code anywhere online to see what it really is. Please help if you can. Thank you.

No direct information but it has shown up before. Looks to be NPP related??.

I read that thread, but the code was slightly different and didn't know if related, and it's interesting that a person said it was from a Borla exhaust. That is what I have added (Atak version)

No noticable performance issues yet. It's also interesting that the code did not show up yesterday and it came back again today.
I just contacted Joe at Cordes to see if he can do anything with it (Best shop ever by the way in Arizona).

I wonder if the NPP sticks or something like that, because I do use that function often around my neighbors and then I let it rip when I leave the neighborhood. We had so many dust storms and big rains last month, so wondering if something like that can affect it.

Thanks guys for all your help.

What ended up being the issue with that p31e1 code, did you get it resolved, I seem to have the same issue.

I recently purchased a 2023 C8 with a Borla Atak exhaust. I don't remember the code, but it had to do the with exhaust emission system. The dealer and I both relearned the valves and every 100 to 200 miles the check engine light would still turn on. I spoke to Borla and was told there was a range of systems produced that had issues. If you are the original owner, they will replace it for free. You'll need to provide them the serial number on each muffler which also has the build date stamped. Since I am not the original owner, Borla will provide a discount for the front section. This is the section from the cats to the muffler with the first set of values and actuators. Hope you don't have this problem

According to the 2021 Service Manual P31E1 is "Exhaust Flow Control Valve 2 - Position Signal Exceeds Lower Limit"
