So I was told by my dealer that the 70th is on constraint due to the edge red calipers .when do you guys think they will lift the constraint and does anybody know the reason why .I heard there was a fire at warehouse who makes the calipers .

I have read that the edge red caliper will
no longer be available and they are changing the calipers to bright red for the 70th anniversary editions when they come off constraint.

Man what a way to celebrate the 70th anniversary of America's sports car First the pkg was on constraint due to wheels, now a simple paint color on brake calipers? Maybe they should run down to autozone and grab some cans of edge red paint

Hang on...

It was rumoured that they would change the caliper color but it was noted the vendor supplying is back at supplying Edge Red. Torch Red would not match the engine appearance package as well...

My 70th is at 3100 "available for sequence" and TPW of 9/26.

The company that made the paint for the edge red calipers. did have fire 7/10/22. If you go to chevy.com and build your 70th Anniversary the Edge Red Calipers has been replaced by the Bright Red Calipers. So this tells me Chevy has already changed out the calipers. We just have to wait until next Thursday to see if the constraint is lifted for this ordering cycle.
