today i received my Corvette C8 Z51 with 3LT package im glad i can joy to this elite team of C8.
i have a Apple Car (3 LT - Europe version) and every feature what this car can have. But.. i cannot connect my iPhone through Bluetooth to Apple Car.
When i plug USB - it works. When i go to Apple Car screen and iPhone is connected through Bluetooth i see info that i have to connect it through Bluetooth.
But i read that every Corvette from 2021 year has wireless Apple Car. So do question is: how can it be that i cant connect my 3LT C8 wireless to Apple Car?
Maybe im doing something wrong? I dont belive that my version dont support it...
Apple car play requires and uses wifi for the connection. It has nothing to do with the internet. It uses the wifi network to connect to the car. On my car apple car play will not work if wifi is disabled on the phone, and it gives me a message saying to enable wifi to use car play. See post 23. Repeat it has nothing to do with internet. It just use wifi network to connect to the car.
Dont know about your car but my 2021 wireless apple car play requires both bluetooth and wifi to be enabled on the phone. It use wifi network connection to support apple car play.
1. Was Bluetooth pairing successful with your C8 and your iPhone?
2. Apple Car play wireless connection first uses Bluetooth then WiFi. Is your WiFi also enabled, along with Bluetooth?

1. Yes
2. wifi is also enabled but not connected to car.

Then your issue makes no sense. My iPhone 12 plays through Bluetooth every time I get in the car. I've never used the wire or WiFi to get it to play. The phone is in my pocket! Maybe you could delete your phone and then reconnect it using the instructions in the manual.
I find that the connection gets lost and won't come back after working for several weeks. So what I do is to do a hard boot on the phone (hold the power button for a while until it shuts off). Turn the phone back on and then on the C8, disconnect from that phone. Then on the phone, go to Settings, Bluetooth and "re-discover" the C8 (that may require to go to the Bluetooth Settings and wipe out the connection to the car first). After a few moments, the C8 and the phone are in love once again.

Car Play has nothing to do with Wi Fi. Disabuse yourself of that notion.
This assumes you 'want' to connect to the Internet using wifi as opposed to a phone data plan. Bluetooth is device to device. Has zero to do with the Internet.
but wifi on my iPhone is on, shloud i do something more?
I don't use CarPlay (Android phone) so I can't help with the details, but the phone needs to be able to connect to the car's wi-fi. Following the instructions in post #7 should accomplish that.

Most people that use Android Auto/CarPlay want to do it because they want to use Google maps, Waze, and other Android/Apple apps from the car's infotainment screen. The only way you can do that is to use Android Auto/CarPlay connected connected between the car and phone using a USB cable or Wi-Fi.
If you just want to use car's audio apps over Bluetooth you don't even need Android Auto/CarPlay.

I tried everything. I disconnected phone from car and removed bluetooth, i made steps in manual but cant use wireless.
How can i check if my car support connection through WiFi?

Turn on the hotspot on your phone and connect the car to the hotspot in the car's settings. Then try an in-car app (Alexa, Spotify, etc. - although I don't know what apps the car comes with overseas). However, if you are in the car's free OnStar data period you need to make sure you aren't using that but I think if you successfully connect to your phone's hotspot you won't be.
If you have OnStar data you can turn on the car's hotspot and connect to your phone to the car via Wi-Fi.
