I like it EXCEPT for the phone holder itself. If you turn the phone horizontally, it can slide out going around a corner!.. I got the ball mount attachment and use a IOtti phone holder.. Best of both worlds.
Before the ProClip I tried at least 2 other mounts.. Nothing even close to the PRO Clip

That’s the great part of the mount. You can put a nice variety of holders on it. I was considering a magnet for it but I use the wireless charger in my TRX.
Installed the Proclip phone mount today. Works perfectly and is easily accessible as well. Definitely won’t forget it when getting out🤣
can you provide a link to this one? I searched on Amazon and there seems to be a few holders called ProClip. I want to make sure I order the one that you have. This seems to be exactly what I need.

Make sure you order the correct holder for your phone as it’s separate from the mount. They also just had a 15% off sale. Not sure if it’s still going.

So you use a ProClip but with an IOtti holder? Do you have a link for the specific IOtti phone holder/attachment?

I bought the EASY ONE TOUCH... took the phone holder off the mount and put it on the 17 mm ball. .. No,,.. wait, ... for the C8 I took the holder from the CD car mount because it didn't have the bottom bracket. .. though those are easily removed.
The ball that PRO CLIP sells is 17 mm as this is the standard ball size. .. Pick YOUR favorite phone holder and use that. I like the IOtti because I only have to push the phone against the button and it's held, and squeeze the sides to release. .... Easy Peezy.
Darn, sure would like to get one for my phone...but... they don't make a QI charging holder to fit my phone/case (Samsung Note 9 with a Otterbox Defender case). Without QI charging it's useless in my case.

If you get the proclip Corvette adapter (part that mounts to screen), nearly any phone mount will then bolt to it. You do not have to get a holder from proclips as well.

Right-ee-O. PRO-CLIP base, 17mm ball, (from PRO-Clip) your favorite phone holder and Bob's yer Uncle. It's not an inexpensive way to go, but it sure works great. .. I can even turn my phone horizontally and not have any part cover the C8 screen.
I've used Proclip mounts in a number of cars. They're pricey, but the best integrated mounts around. They use the standard AMPS mounting hole pattern for the phone holder, so you can use any holder you want that also uses AMPS. That's a very long list.
