Default Good mechanics?

New owner here. I love my C8 and have no problems but wanted to know how to find dealers with certified corvette mechanics near me? In the hopefully unlikely event that I need work done I want to know where to go beforehand. I live in south Florida and do all my own work but if it needs warranty work then I'll let them do it. So any good dealers? or list? Thanks.

Go to https://www.chevrolet.com/dealer-locator and choose "Corvette Certified Dealer" as one of the filters. Look for those labeled as "Corvette Signature Dealer".

After initial search, there will be a box labeled "select filters" at the top of the list.

Good luck finding a dealer in South Florida that has a service department with enough knowledge. We have cars in shop all the time that are stock and the dealers can't fix issues that are well within there scope of work.... rough crowd....

My Corvettes have only gone back to dealers for warranty work. I wish I could say they were good experiences... I wish. Hopefully, you won't need them! ENJOY your Vette!!!

Yeah, that's why I am asking. I am wanting someone who knows a good mechanic from experience and not just hoping for the best.

Well we can't help ultimately with warranty but if there is anything else you need we can assist. We do a lot of C8 services for the reasons discussed. We stock all the GM filters and oils are needed including the DCT trans parts. We also have all the GM diagnostic equipment that is needed for many processes on newer GM cars including the C8.

In addition we don't have C8's falling off the lifts....

I'm in Ft Laud so that's a bit far. I ended up buying mine from Bomin but only because that was the closest one willing to offer no upcharge. I am going to keep looking, and like I said hopefully never need any warranty service.

Look up your local Corvette club. The clubs with websites usually have a contact person. Ask that person where the C8 owners in their club get their C8s serviced. That's how I found the dealer I'm going to use.
