Theft-deterrent system
on the 2023 online order / reference guide, it says theft-deterrent system comes standard on 2LT & 3LT only. so the if someone order the 1LT there is no alarm / theft deterrent system?

OP: ALL C8s have an engine immobilizer anti-theft system, but the 1LT has no alarm. The 2 and 3LT add an alarm triggered by opening a door without the keyfob nearby, an interior motion sensor and a car tilt sensor.

Its a thing people say on the internet to be both humorous or witty as well as to point out the decline in those adept at manual transmission mastery... presumably this translates to car thieves as well

All trim levels have the following:
2LT and 3LT get the following in addition:
Theft-deterrent system, vehicle, push button start, immobilizer and audible visual alarm
UTJ Theft-deterrent system, electrical, unauthorized entry, activates the horn
UTU Theft deterrent sensor, vehicle inclination
UTV Theft deterrent sensor, vehicle interior movement
UTU Theft deterrent sensor, vehicle inclination
UTV Theft deterrent sensor, vehicle interior movement

I can attest to how well the 'vehicle inclination sensor' works. Several times when working on my C8 I forgot to hit the 'unlock', jacked up the side and the alarm goes off.
