Default Decals - vote!

I saw the Jake package in person and no longer a fan of the front stripe. I really liked the Stingray R decal though.

Now I'm all confused... what decal to get.
  • Stingray R (Front where the original logo is)
  • Stingray Z51 ( Front where the Stringray R logo would be - OR on rear quarter panel)
  • Z51 (Front or rear quarter panel)
Love to get your votes, as well as sizes and see your pics!!!

You did not give me the option of my preferred choice... "None of the above; all the options are ridiculous."

How about decals all over the place (but Stingray R on door towards the front).

That Stingray R on the side skirt looks good, the others look out of place, wrong color, they just don't blend with the car.

What is the deal with the Z51 badges/decals? Should we start putting 3LT badges on our cars next?

Z51 at least means something, but those who know what it means won't need the decal to tell. Those who don't know what it means won't be impressed by the decal.

"R" means nothing except that you bought a decal. It's no different than someone slapping a "Type R" badge on the back of a base Honda Civic. Tacky.

The C8 design is busy enough as it is without sticking more eye candy on it.

Added decals, emblems etc cheapen the look of a sportscar IMO. I do like the subtle and tasteful "Z51" decal GM puts on calipers.

I opted for the R package and have asked the dealer to not install. May install protective wrap, may install decals after or not at all. It is an AW HTC with CF roof and nacelles, AW loves the contrast, nice to have options.

What do you get with the R package other than the decals you've asked the dealer not to install?

I had a motorcycle once that I did up in Ferrari livery. It was not a commonly seen bike, and fooled most people. I generally told the, the truth, except for one cop who insisted on telling me he had seen Ferrari motorcycles in Italy, but never in the U.S.

So when you list it for sale to the gen pop, which car is going to get more attention? A C8 R type or the car without that designation?

It’s not the steak that your selling it’s the sizzle!
