Default C8 Order Options - Availability

I ordered my C8 about 8 months ago and have been asked to finally build the car with Chevys Build/Pricing Tool .

I would like to order the Red 2Tone GT2 Bucket seats. Does somebody now if the Leather parts on the dash and middle console partially will be red too or is there another option that I didn't find ?

I noticed, that the engine appearance package is not available anymore. Not sure if the Covers will be available by it self / soon. Which I think will be easy to install. Just typing this here I see a big ol' banner on top of this page with aftermarket engine covers. But I would really like to know if the lights in the engine buy void the guarantee ? I sure sure some cheap ones are a rest to put in the engine bay but are there any certified ones ?

You could buy the actual parts for the engine bay lights and install them yourself, there’s a thread here somewhere with detailed instructions. As far as aftermarket lighting, there’s a lot of options but I don’t know of any that are GM approved. Regardless, as long as you’re not splicing into wires I doubt you’ll cause a warranty issue.

As far as the two tone interior goes, consider a 3LT so you can use the R6X override and have just two tone seats without the dash. I think it looks much nicer.

Amoreloba thanks, Ok I have quite some issue with insurances lately so I now they don't want to pay out which is common knowledge ( but the way they do it is new to me) I can imagine when then engine catches fire ( which can def. happen) they their Ajuster will look immediately for modifications I the the engine bay and if he finds something it doesn't matter if that was the cause of the fire.

Anyway according to things were in the past with C7's are chevy installments possible when the parts become are available ?

I'm also looking for the transparent roof panel which seams to be sold out too...

As far as the LT3 ... it's out of budget for me.

I just ordered this interior on my car. The interior code is HXO, "Trim Suede, Jet Blk w/ Adrenaline Red, Seats." It's only available on 3LT.

I have that same interior on my 22. I really like it. Just a small splash of color in the interior really makes the 3LT pop.

There are two different ways to get the two tone interior. The HXO option only gives you the adrenaline red seat bolsters as Amoreloba pointed out. The other option adds some red on the console and dash. It all depends on what you like.

I like the two tone seats but every time I enter the upgrade from standard to gt2 seats it adds in steering wheel change and also an additional charge for color change on seats, I can see the charge for upgrade to gt2 seats but all the other add ons it comes out to about a $3000.00 up charge to get those two tone seats a little to much for me.

You're adding the sueded seat inserts, not just two-tone That also requires a suede steering wheel, which costs more. Just going to two-tone leather won't change the wheel.

But yes, there's a charge for GT2, and a charge for two-tone. And the steering wheel charge if you choose suede.

Per the Build and Price site:

GT2 seats: $1695
Two-tone: $ 595
sub total: $ 2290 for two-tone leather GT2

Microsuede: $ 695 for the micro suede wheel

Total: $ 2985

Yes, hat the same issue since I didn't like the sued seeing wheel, but according to Chevy , that option is not available without adding the steering wheel, which is wired .

I believe depending on the outside color of your car they will also hit you up for a “color combination override” charge of $695. I found this when putting the two toned seats HXO option black seats with adrenaline red bolsters only, in my build on top of the $595 for the two tone seat charge. This was on a RMM build.
Somebody also mentioned the HUA option. What I recall is that this option gives you the two tone seat bolsters plus some two tone accents on the console and dash. Everybody’s tastes are different. That’s one of the great things about the C8, the ability to greatly customize your build to suit your tastes.

I have just now confirmed my order since the High Wing would cause issues with the delivery times, I had to take it off.

What Delivery Times have you guys experienced after you confirmed you final build ?

^^^
Mike Furman is telling buyers 6 to 8 weeks from the time the order is matched to an allocation and accepted by GM (status 2000).
