I have an update to my previous post concerning the $255 LPO flaps. i had mine installed by the dealer prior to pickup.
I was cleaning the car the other day ( 1900 miles on it) and could not believe how many chips i had on the area in front of the rear tires ( see attached photo for location)
It is so bad I took the car to get PPF on the full length of the bottom between the tires.

I am sure the LPO models helped but not near to the extent that I expected > Next time I would go with the after market XL version/

Proper side skirts will prevent this. .

You probably are correct. They just were not for me. They look good on your car

Ended up asking for the yellow section. PPF guy also recommended the Blue sections. Figured he knew more about this stuff than me.

Just installed mine that was purchased from Amazon. Took about 30-40 mins. Very simple process.

I have the ACS extended ones. With aftermarket wheels that are more of a flush fender fitment, the ACS guards seem to be doing a pretty good job of protecting the car. Most people don't even realize that they are aftermarket unless I tell them.

I have the official GM splash guards…. How these from amazon compare to them? Is it worth it to replace them with the amazon ones?
