When I’m doing a 0 to 60 I get everything all set foot all the way down on the brake fuel pedal all the way down also. The problem is when I let off the brake the car takes off and then takes a nose dive. I get a check engine light during this but goes off later in the day. Has anyone else come across this problem? I’m not home much during the week so I have to catch the dealership on the weekends.
Thanks to all that have an answer.

If you are doing these steps, along with the wheel pointing straight ahead then there is something wrong elsewhere (as indicated by the check engine light). Go to the dealer to get the OBD code when the light is still on or check yourself using a compatible OBD2 scanner. My guess is a vacuum leak somewhere.
"The first step is to put the car in drive and select Track mode, then double-tap the ESC Off button just ahead of the mode selector ****. This will bring up the PTM menu on the instrument cluster and allow you to select which program you want with the mode selector ****. The programs are familiar—Wet, Dry, Sport I, Sport II, and Race—and the computer safety net shrinks as you go through them. It doesn't matter which you pick; launch control works in all of them and will give the best launch regardless."
Just for clarification, you will only see the PTM menu if you have a Z51 with MSRC. Other variations will have other options.
You shouldn't be getting a CEL light even if you are doing something wrong. Unfortunately, it looks like a trip to the dealer is in your future. Good advice posted above to bring your car to the dealer with the CEL light on or be able to demonstrate the problem to him. The tech would probably look forward to diagnosing a problem that requires using launch control.

Good entry JVi, I have a question: At a dragstrip or straight ahead Land Speed Record track, which program do think would be best? Sport I, Sport II, or Race?
Thanks, JT

I've tried many and the best I do not remember. 2.6
If you're with heated tires on a sticky prep try race 1 and see how it does. If on drag slicks and prepped surface possibly even race 2.
Also make sure to use a real logger. The pdr will ghive readings that are literally all over the place up to a full second off. You may have run a faster 0-60 on a run and the odr could say you were .5 sec slower and vice versa.

We don't record 1/4 mile times, it's a Land Speed Record track at the former Loring AFB in Maine. We time at the 1 mile & 1.5 mile mark on the 12,500 foot runway leaving plenty of runway to decel & turn off. Longest LSR track besides the Salt Flats. My non-Z51 coupe did 171 in the mile a few times. Going back up this summer with 10,000 more miles on the C8 to shoot for the 1.5 mile times. I think I can break 175.

I was there to watch (more like heard) this guy, Bill Warner, do a 272.340 mph pass at the Maxton mile on his Hayabusa. Just a little quicker than this pedestrian Z51.

Yup, the Maxton Mile is a shorter race course, but they go fast there also. We had a 300 mph cycle run at Loring. Last year we had a Ferrari & a Mustang 500 GT break 200 mph. We have a Super Car Class at Loring now that includes Corvettes & other late model sports cars. A good place to find out just what you & your car are capable of. Check it out.

my wife took my C8 to the dealership today. Codes on the transmission came up. Don’t know exactly what they were, wife was so excited about driving the Corvette she didn’t remember everything the technician said. I’ll give them a call tomorrow, give them a chance to check it out better.
