Hmm, MFG who built the 1st Vettes and helped GM produce fiberglass Vettes does supply some SMC parts. The high tech truck liner and others are made from SMC parts with a density less than water. They float! Like some body panels they use hollow glass micro beads as filler to reduce panel weight.

‘’But the engine, DCT, frame parts etc are not that light!”

No different than any YouTuber! Jet car was impressive! Don't think it will be a big seller BUT in Miami, who knows!
