Default Extra HP

At this point, what is the best ways outside or supercharging to add HP to C8? And is there any known tunes available to make it actually work?

Your post begs that question why do you need more HP? Do you plan to drag race?

from what has been said. Yes it has been cracked. But it's a waste of time only thing yoyu can do is fuel trim and alittle timing. but as for extra hp it's maxed out . even the supercharge is using Lingenfelter box for fuel .

Why people want to question what you're asking about is beyond me. All that matters is what you want!

GPI has done twin turbos and with no tune. Lingenfelter has a Magnuson Supercharger package that somehow doesn't use a "piggyback" device. Both are pricey.

Unless virtually starting from scratch, mainly bench-racing bolt-ons.

It’s not a matter of need. Just like the car itself, it’s a want. The same want that many have. Hence the popularity of the Z06, Eray, and other variants.

Without forced induction, anything to get air in and out more easily is about the best you can do. Intake, throttle body, cats, exhaust. You can probably get 30-50 through bolt ons.

More power is always better, try turning off the traction control and seeing how often you are using what the motor gives you. Modern cars are very good at self-preservation, this is why rich old blue haired ladies love their AMGs, they’re stylish but castrated.

After driving a car with minimal electronic help, then maybe you can see if minors changes and not forced induction will be enough to make you happy.

so far the biggest gains i have seen on an NA C8 is ported heads, but that runs about 6-8k to drop the engine and do the porting. Competition auto got 519 whp with this along with headers, cats, exhaust, intake, ported throttle body, and ported intake manifold.

Just go in the Tech/Performance Section and that should tell you all you need to know.

One thing that looks pretty tame is the cam timing. From dyno test I have seen there are good gains to be had with a cam with more duration and lift.

Good luck with 50 HP. Or even 30.

Most manufacturer claims are exaggerated, And if you add an intake that claims 10 HP, and exhaust that claims 20, and a throttle body than claims 15, you're not going to see 45 HP gain in total. It simply doesn't work that way.

The reason I would ask the OP why is because of different applications for the needed HP.
I don't want turbo lag if I am drag racing, Yeah it may not be much, but tenths matter.
Now, if I just want bragging rights and street cred with how much HP my car has then I would consider turbo charging.

I just installed a paragon cat back exhaust... according to their dyno it's good for a 14hp increase. combine exhaust with an attack blue filter and you could MAYBE gain 20hp.. 30-50 is not happening. Definitely shaves some weight from the tail of the car as the stock npp weighs around 75lbs.
Sounds faster.. which makes it feel faster but 14hp isn't going to kick you in the ***.. but I suspect that the added hp combined with the maybe 45-50lb weight saving should give it some sort of marginal advantage over stock. That said.. short of forced induction the gains will always be minor on a car like the c8 because gm did a good job out of the box with intake and exhaust, tune etc. 495hp is respectable.
I did exhaust for the sound and to get rid of the god awful square tips.
I guess I can say I've got 500hp now tho...

Geesh. I bet if he asked for the best adult diapers he'd get a better response.

Because people are allowed to ask questions. How that is beyond you is what’s mind boggling.
