Take it to the dealer to have the code read before it resets.

Waiting for roll back flat bed to take my 2023 C8 to the dealer for transmission codes.

That sux! Hopefully just needs a valve body / solenoid flush to get you back on the road again.

Those are the same codes that my '22 Z51 HTC threw at around 300 miles. The CEL cleared later that day and the car drove fine. I did not bring to the dealer since the transmission break-in would continue to produce contaminants until 7,500 miles. The CEL did not reappear and I had the transmission fluid flushed and the filter replaced at 7,800 miles. The CEL at 300 miles was an anomaly.

May be as simple as a loose spark plug wire. Hope that's all it is.

the codes are transmission solenoid valve sticking issues.

My car shifted fine. The CEL appeared when I was coming to a stop sign. I also got the "idle creep disabled" message on the Driver Information Center. The problem resolved itself.

Yep, a tech posted and said the DCT has over 100 CEL codes. Many posts re getting codes and when brought to dealer GM advised them to perform a flush. I noticed the DCT was slightly jerky when crawling into my garage at 3 to 4 mph for the 1st 800 miles. After that perfectly smooth.

For those two reasons, had the dealer change the DCT filter that requires a flush prior when I had my first engine oil change per the OLM at ~12 months with only ~3000 miles. All on GM's dime.

I'll have the DCT filter changed again my 3rd service next year when all 11 quarts of fluid require changing. Satisfies the GM change filter at 7500 males and IMO is a good precaution!

At least you know what the issue is. A visit to the dealer would be a good idea to get the problem resolved. Best of luck.

if your trans didn't shift, by definition it's not the same response/lack of response to an issue as rapid htc's issues. therefore, act accordingly. unless you look forward to the car stopping somewhere. good luck.

Couldn't disagree more. They made them yesterday, today and tomorrow. The C8 is a great car, and ALL car manufacturers have their issues. You're only hearing from the people with issues, not the vast majority who do not. Check out this 40k mile review from Car and Driver if you want proof.

To the OP. I hope your issue is resolve soon with either a flush or valve body replacement.

I normally don't respond to this type of dribble.......... but would love to know what Mr. Kaya considers a real sports car and what models of that car he has owned?

Op good luck. I'd expect its minor, fingers crossed, and like a root canal its sucks for a few days but a few weeks later its all good.
