Good morning,

After 14 months on the list My C8 order has been accepted. I am wondering about how long it will take to make, ship, and arrive at my dealer. What has been your experience?
I ordered the base with minimal options.

My order was accepted the middle of November and car was built the third week of January -- about 9 weeks. The holidays probably increased the length of time by a week or two. Delivery to the dealer took another three weeks after the car was built. My dealer is approximately six hours from the BG assembly plant so there wasn't some long rail transport to contend with.

It's like the wait is in three phases.
Wait to get an allocation - approx 10-12 months
Wait for build - 4-6 weeks
Wait to be delivered to dealer. 4-6 weeks

I am currently at 10 weeks between order acceptance, and build date. I still have not got my build date.

Status 3000 can range from 2 weeks to 4 months it seems like. Could be anywhere in that range. Then it's an average of 5-6 weeks to deliver to the dealer itself.

As said, 4 to 6 weeks for build. The wait for delivery will depend on where the car is going. The big three get enough cars those orders don't sit on the lot very long, and it doesn't take very long to drive to them. (Mine was built 2nd shift Friday and delivered to Criswell the following Thursday). If yours is going to a small dealer in the Northwest it might sit at BG for up to 10 days before getting loaded on a truck, and then that truck might stop at multiple dealers before it gets to yours. That cold take several weeks.
