Does anyone have any recommendations for a place that could lower my 23 Z51 about an inch or so, and do it the proper way. I’m located in central Ky so would need something close to there.

You have a Z-51 ,have you tried to lower it yourself? You can bring the car down by turning the collars down on your adjustable shocks...Search on this forum for more information on how to do that..I don't have the Z-51 option on my 2020 so I lowered my car by replacing the coil springs..

Its pretty easy for any shop to do. All they need is the wrenches to turn the collars. A very basic job for a tech.
Mine took about an hour and a half without the proper wrenches.
A C8 with Z51 is quite easy to lower with the correct spanner wrenches. The maximum drop you will get on factory components is .75 or 3/4" of an inch. If you have front lift you will need collars to get the front down to match the rear.
This is how the Z51 looks lowered all the way on factory coil overs. I did an alignment afterwards and the measurements were still within factory spec so It hardly changed.

You forgot to add that you kept your warranty intact by paying attention to the factory specs.
MY C-8 has been ordered and the first thing is to put HRE aftermarket wheels on and lower the car 3//4 inch. It is a Z-51 with no front lift and no mag ride. It looks like all we have to do is to turn to collars with the correct spanner wrench.

Thanks for sharing! Great to hear that the specs remained mostly the same. When you upgraded the wheels, did you stay with the stock 19/20 or go up in size?
A couple of notes:
I sprayed silicone (rubber) lubricant on the rubber bumper stops to reduce friction.
Wear sticky rubberized gloves for grip.
Work off the lower sleeve with a thin flat screwdriver.
The upper threads get exposed when done so I covered them with a strip of gorilla tape to keep the dirt off of them.
And here it is on stock wheels with stock sized winter tires.
Interesting. I'm about to get a 23 soon and have been looking into lowering it. This picture is simply adjusting the factory Z51 suspension with no additional alterations? Perfect drop

I lowered my MSRC, E60, Z51 using the stock coilover in the rear (0.5") and Paragon collars in the front (0.75").
I paid very close attention to the positioning of all the components of the struts, etc. Took it to the Chevy dealer a week later and they checked the alignment. Said the alignment was perfectly fine and didn't need to be adjusted.

Yes sir, the only mod was adjusting the factory coils.
