Default Spring Mountain

I am going to Spring Mountain this weekend. Anything out of the ordinary I should take or I should know?
Thanks

I just got back from COS. you do not need anything special. even at night i just needed a sweater. when you are in the car they have the windows up so you set the climate control to whatever is comfortable. most people were in t-shirts, and some instructors were wearing shorts.

In the classes they go over how to operate the C8 so you will not have to worry about studying the manual or anything. some people suggest using manual mode to get used to shifting, but even then a handful of people in the class never used the paddles prior to the class and they had no issues.

Don't expect to much. Driving I mean. If you end up in a slower driver group you will have to follow them and you can not develop the combination of high speed driving, then braking correctly for the corner followed by the proper speed/line through the corner and accelerating again. Yes, you will be able to do this when you are #1 behind the instructor, but that is only a fraction of your driving time.
I did not benefit from the constant radio communication of the instructor to all the drivers. Very distracting for me.
Nice people, good food, good socialization. Good class room.
Autocross was the most enjoyable for me.
Everybody is different.
Hope you have a great time.
One man from Canada, who was a 1st time driver, was very talented in the road course driving.
