Phone mount for C8
Other than the ProClip phone mount system (2021 Chevrolet Corvette Dashboard Mounts | ProClip USA), has anyone come across other phone mounts whether you purchased or created. Please share relevant pics and detailed info. Thanks in advance.

What's wrong with the ProClip?
I had one on my C6, C7, and now C8
As far as I am concerned, they are great — and of course do have the Corvette "tax" added.
Regardless, nicely and work well.

I went thru 4 different mounts before going with ProClip. I don't need to buy another. It's THE ONE. ....BUT
The phone holder itself is not at all to my liking. You can turn it horizontally, but then there's nothing to hold the phone in place if you're "cornering"... After trying their holder, I bought
their ball mount (17mm) and used the holder from an IOtti phone mount. I prefer ones without a "bottom" so that I can clamp the phone anyplace (that doesn't hit side buttons.

The only other one I tried was from A-Tach. It was functional, but the ProClip is much nicer. Easier to install and remove, and much less noticeable / intrusive. Both use the AMPS hole pattern for the phone mount, so you can choose between a large number of phone holders.

Nothing wrong with the one from ProClip - I haven’t ordered it or anything else from them before, so just wanted to explore what else might be out there that I hadn’t come across as retail product or what others may have come up with on their own. Thanks.

I like the cup phone holder. Not as cool looking but it puts the phone within reach. I am tall so with the seat all the way back it is hard to reach the infotainment screen. I added the rubber sleave that keeps it from rocking around in the cup holder.

Never understood why any clip is needed??? Put your phone where it gets charged and connect to Android Auto / Apple CarPlay as that's what its intended for....Distracted drivers cause accidents!!! Just saying!

The problem is Android Auto (and I assume CarPlay) limit the apps you can use. If you want to use a radar detector app, OBD monitoring app, etc. it isn't allowed.
