I picked up mine on 11/19, and agree with the OP - it’s an amazing experience.
We couldn’t do the tour of the plant, unfortunately, because the dates were blacked out that week. It turns out they were building electric Corvettes on the production line those weeks. It sounds like maybe early pre-production E-Rays. They supposedly were hybrids, with electric power on the front wheels.
If I ever buy another Corvette, there is no doubt I’ll do R8C again.
