The configurator randomly loaded this new rendered beach background. I didn't get a chance to click around or change configuration options (the page auto reloaded while I was clicking around like it sometimes does then reverted back to the same old background used since 2020). I spent a couple hours trying to reproduce the beach background but no joy.

After I gave up, I left the configurator open another hour and came back to see it changed back to the beach. So I clicked to change the color to Hypersonic Gray which triggered the whole page to reload into this glitchy Cadillac floating in a patio. After it reloaded the C8 stayed silver but I was able change it to HSG. Then it refreshed back to the old familiar background again.
EDIT: Got the beach to load and was able to change it to HSG + Z51. After more clicking around the background reverted back to the showroom/gallery.

Here is a shot of the Cadillac Escalade visualizer. It looks as though there was some cross traffic between the two when you were using visualizer. When the visualizer glitched, it gave you the chop-shop version with your C8 render.
