So would this be the correct time to disarm the car when one is lifting ti cange oil os remove the wheels? Or is it not necessary?

Yes... disarm the intrusion alarm before lifting..... or, just don't lock the car. If the car is not locked, intrusion alarm is not active.

OMs should be the first place to look then if unable to locate/find answer, then post a question.

FWIW, I anticipated the RTFM response. But, after reviewing the TOC and index, skimming the OM twice and searching every term I could think of, I posted. I am grateful to those who are willing to share their knowledge.
